1. What This Platform Is

Immani Legal Info (legal.immanihub.com) is a free online platform that provides general legal information about Kenyan law using artificial intelligence. The platform allows you to:

• Ask questions about Kenyan law and receive AI-generated responses
• Search for Kenyan case law and legislation
• Generate legal document templates (demand letters, affidavits, plaints, etc.)
• Upload and analyze legal documents
• Compare legal documents
• Look up legal terms in the glossary

2. What This Platform Is NOT

This platform is not a law firm. This platform is not a lawyer. This platform does not provide legal advice. Specifically:

• This platform does not provide legal advice for your specific situation
• This platform does not create a lawyer-client relationship between you and Immani, its operators, or any affiliated person
• This platform does not represent you in any legal matter
• This platform does not replace the services of a qualified advocate enrolled with the Advocates Society of Kenya
• This platform does not guarantee that the information provided is accurate, current, or complete
• This platform does not guarantee that any document generated will be accepted by a court or any other authority

3. AI-Generated Content — You Accept the Risk

The responses, documents, and analyses provided by this platform are generated by an artificial intelligence model. AI models can and do make mistakes. The AI may:

• Generate incorrect, outdated, or fabricated information
• Cite case names, statute sections, or legal provisions that do not exist or have been repealed
• Misinterpret the law or apply the wrong legal principle
• Produce documents with formatting errors, missing clauses, or incorrect legal language
• Provide information that was correct at one time but has since been changed by new legislation or court decisions

By using this platform, you acknowledge and accept that the AI may produce inaccurate or incomplete information, and you assume full responsibility for verifying all information before relying on it.

4. Your Input Affects the Output

The accuracy and usefulness of the AI's response depends on the accuracy and specificity of the information you provide. If you ask a vague, incomplete, or misleading question, the AI may give a vague, incomplete, or misleading answer. You are responsible for:

• Asking clear, specific questions with all relevant facts
• Providing accurate and complete information when requesting document drafts or analysis
• Reviewing the AI's response for obvious errors before acting on it
• Understanding that the AI's output is only as good as your input — if you give wrong facts, you will get wrong answers

Immani is not responsible for inaccurate or incomplete outputs that result from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading input from you.

5. Your Responsibility to Verify

You are responsible for any decision you make based on information from this platform. Before acting on any information, document, or analysis provided by this platform, you must:

• Verify all information against the original sources (Kenya Law, eKLR, government gazettes)
• Consult a qualified advocate enrolled with the Advocates Society of Kenya
• Confirm that any cited case law or legislation is current and applicable to your situation
• Review any generated document with a qualified advocate before filing it in court or using it in any legal matter

Do not file any document generated by this platform in court without first having it reviewed by a qualified advocate.

6. No Lawyer-Client Relationship

Using this platform does not create a lawyer-client relationship between you and Immani, its operators, employees, or affiliates. No such relationship exists unless and until you have signed a written engagement letter with a qualified advocate. The information provided by this platform is general in nature and is not tailored to your specific legal situation.

7. Document Drafting — Templates Only

The document drafting feature generates templates based on the information you provide. These templates are not legal advice and are not a substitute for the services of a qualified advocate. Specifically:

• Generated documents are starting points, not finished legal documents
• Generated documents may contain errors, omissions, or incorrect legal language
• Generated documents may not comply with current court rules or filing requirements
• Immani does not guarantee that any generated document will be accepted by a court, tribunal, or other authority
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and finalizing any document before use

Under the Advocates Act, Cap 16 of the Laws of Kenya, the preparation of legal documents for others may be reserved for enrolled advocates. You should consult a qualified advocate to prepare or review any legal document.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this platform to:

• Engage in the unauthorized practice of law or hold yourself out as a legal professional
• Generate documents or information for fraudulent, illegal, or abusive purposes
• Attempt to access, modify, or delete data belonging to other users
• Attempt to access admin or setup endpoints without authorization
• Send unsolicited payment prompts to phone numbers that do not belong to you
• Use the platform to harass, intimidate, or threaten any person
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from this platform without permission
• Attempt to overload, crash, or disrupt the platform's servers or infrastructure
• Use the platform in any way that violates Kenyan law, including the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act, 2018

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

9. Free Tier and Subscriptions

This platform offers a free tier (limited to 3 questions per day) and paid subscriptions (hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly passes) via M-Pesa. Payment terms:

• Free tier: 3 questions per day, no payment required
• Paid subscriptions: processed via Safaricom M-Pesa Daraja API
• Subscription entitlements are active for the duration purchased (hour, day, week, or month)
• Subscriptions are non-transferable and tied to your phone number
• We do not store your M-Pesa PIN. Payments are processed securely by Safaricom

Refund requests can be submitted to support@immanihub.com within 24 hours of purchase. Full refund if you have not used any questions. Pro-rated refund if the service is down for more than 4 hours. No refund after 50% of purchased questions have been used.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, you agree that:

• Immani, its operators, employees, and affiliates shall have no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, this platform
• Immani shall have no liability for any damages resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or fabricated information provided by the AI, including but not limited to fabricated case citations, incorrect statute sections, or misstatements of law
• Immani shall have no liability for any damages resulting from the use of any document generated by this platform, including documents that are rejected by a court, contain legal errors, or cause financial loss
• Immani shall have no liability for any damages resulting from your failure to verify information or consult a qualified advocate before acting
• Immani shall have no liability for any loss of data, business interruption, or technical failure of the platform
• Immani shall have no liability for the actions, omissions, errors, or outputs of the third-party AI model used by this platform, as the AI model is developed and operated by a third party over whom Immani has no control
• If, despite these terms, a court finds Immani liable for any claim, Immani's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Immani for the subscription in question — and you acknowledge that this amount reflects payment for access to an AI information tool, not payment for professional legal advice

You acknowledge that any payment made to Immani is for access to the platform and its AI tools, not for legal advice or professional legal services. The fees charged (KSh 50–500 for time-limited access) are consistent with access to an AI information tool, not with the fees charged by qualified advocates for legal advice (typically KSh 5,000–50,000 or more). No reasonable person could believe they are receiving professional legal advice for KSh 50. If you require guaranteed accuracy, you must engage and pay a qualified advocate.

This limitation of liability applies even if Immani has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

This platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Immani disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information provided
• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties that any document generated will be legally valid or accepted by any court

You use this platform at your own risk.

12. Account and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your phone number and session. You agree to:

• Not share your OTP codes with anyone
• Not share your session or account with others
• Notify us immediately at support@immanihub.com if you believe your account has been compromised

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

13. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to this platform at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the platform at any time.

14. Intellectual Property

The platform's design, code, and branding are the property of Immani. Legal texts (statutes, legislation) are public property under Kenyan law. Case law is sourced from Kenya Law (kenyalaw.org) and is subject to their terms of use. AI-generated responses and document templates are provided for your personal use.

15. Third-Party Services

This platform uses third-party services including Cloudflare (hosting and AI), Safaricom M-Pesa (payments), and Mobile Sasa (SMS). Immani is not responsible for the actions, failures, or policies of these third parties. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply to your use of their services.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute arising from your use of this platform shall be resolved in the courts of Kenya. If a court finds any provision of these terms unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you by SMS or email before changes take effect and post the updated terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after notification constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Immani regarding your use of this platform.
